BBC article on Pellegrini
About the effect he's had on the club since he arrived. The future seems bright (though I've thought that before only to be let down).

Again, agree with some of your points sometimes but that is not what I said or proved.

Putting aside whether whether you think Antonio operated as striker when Snograss was behind him on the right...

There were seven instances of us starting with 2 of Arnautovic, Hernandez, Carroll or Perez.

Who the fuck are you to “let me get away with anything?”
You’re a weird stalker creep, I’ll say what I want without fear of censorship from a saddo like you!
I stick by everything I said, I’m delighted where we are but I’m still not 100% convinced.

"He was so insistent on 4-4-2 when he arrived"

IOC proved it to be 5 just 5 out of 38 games not even including cup games.

real insistent.

DHH i was on your side to start with as Rochester had previously slated the manager but following him all over multiple threads and clogging them up with the same childish bickering is a bit OTT

"He was so insistent on 4-4-2 when he arrived"

That's what I had a problem with, john. Nothing much else.

He wasn't insistent on 4-4-2 when he arrived. As I said before, he was pretty happy playing a completely different formation in his previous job.

Thank mate

I think there might have been more but your question was

"Can anyone else recall us starting a game in a 4-4-2 formation?"

I could.

Re: BBC article on Pellegrini
if you can’t see we’ve evolved in our playing style since his arrival your eyes must be sewn on!
We’ve gone from a very rigid system to a fluid interchangeable side, playing with the 2 holding has taken the shackles off the front 4 and you often see them swapping all over the shop.
It’s a compliment not a criticism.

Re: BBC article on Pellegrini
I love that WHO has to take sides.

I disagree with a lot of what rochester says but of course we tried 442 in a number of games last season. We won some of them against weaker teams got torn apart against better ones.

And Pellegrini is very proud of playing it against a "big" team in Manchester United with City.

Re: BBC article on Pellegrini
Well done, ioc.

We played about 5 games in total with 2 up front. You win.

A great WHO response, when proven wrong. You not even going to try an actual argument, you not better than that?

Re: BBC article on Pellegrini
I'm using China as an argument as you reckon he evolved here from his 4-4-2 formation.

He was playing 4-1-4-1 years ago in China!

Re: BBC article on Pellegrini
No he hasn't.

He was playing 4-1-4-1 in China!
